2023 End of Year Updates

Here is an update on the GO projects in Brazil from our Partners on the ground Abraao and Sara:

- The pig sty is beautiful and already houses at least four pigs.

- We took some of the resources already designated for the two farm projects and purchased a male and female pig for the pig farm.

- It has been discovered that the pig farm concept is ideal for the climate in the Sertao.

- We will be completing a bathroom for the pig farm family with the remaining resources already provided.

- The bee-keeping project is about to produce its first batch of honey for the market and is expected to bring in around R$30 per bottle (about $6.15 USD; a significant income for a family from one jar of honey).

- The chicken farmers are experiencing some challenges managing disease, but they are doing OK. They are using some eggs to raise new chicks and replenish their egg-laying chickens, and taking the rest of the eggs to market.

-We have built 6-10 fully functional bathrooms for families in the Sertao.

All of the families that we have helped feel indebted for this great opportunity and it is helping to transform their lives. And the entire family is involved in the actual business.
